I had maybe an inch or less of a space in the center Cullen, about the width of a finger.I could have pushed it up,but then the spoiler wouldn't look right. Here is a shot with it on.Next to my Black one,as you can see they have almost the same look.I hope you can figure it out.Tom

I don't remember it looking marred or bent at all when I was down there, but the only thing I can think of is the core support is bent in an upward position like someone tried jacking the car up there. The radiator and the radiator cover fit fine though.

All this talked of spoilers and I just had to try again. I lined up the outside edge of the fenders with the spoiler like suggested in a earlier post. Then jacked up the center of the spoiler on the flat spot with a bock on the jack until it went flush with the bottom of the core support. It looks like it might actually work. Here are some pixs of what I did.

Does anyone have the instructions for this poston kit? I cant figure out how I am supposed to install the center support brace. Also I looks like I may not get to use the Ram air part of this kit the stupid air cleaner does not clear the hood. I am going to try and remove the 1" spacer from under the carburetor.

    Turbo455,
Here is the diagram I got with my Poston front spoiler. I basically had to do exactly what you showed in your pictures. I used two bottle jacks instead of a floor jack but result was the same. I had an inch gap and had to push up the center of the spoiler to close the gap before putting the bolts in. Pushing up on the rear 'flange' behind the center section to it's up against the core support actually helps to point the nose down so it doesn't have that nose-high look to it.

Thank you very much randy.:beer I think I will put it on even if I cant get the ram air part to work. My spoiler did not come with mounting holes in it, is that normal?

That was absolutely ridiculous. It took 3 days to get that stupid thing on so that it is straight. So the trick is that you fist drill and mount the ends of the spoiler as far back on the fender as it will go. This will require drilling your own holes into the back edge of the fender. Next you need about a 1" bumper spacer on the point of the flat spot on the top center of the spoiler. This helps to make the spoiler sit flat and level. Next remover the radiator. Next drill a hole as far back as possible in the center down through the core support and through the spoiler. And finally put a nut and bolt in that hole and tighten it up until the spoiler becomes level. What a pain in the ass, that should bolt on a lot easier than that. I will post some pix tomorrow of what I am talking about.

Maybe it's just me,but they seem like a POS. Mine went on in less than 25 minutes and all I used was 2 pair vice grips on the ends by the fender. I used small blocks of wood to hold it up against the core support and it took me longer to measure and drill than anything...Wow there seems to be a big difference in the spoilers...I also notice you mounted the ends at the back edge of the fender. Mine was put an inch or so forward. Maybe that's the issues you guys are having.

If I put my bolts an inch or so forward that puts it right where the fender brace is.

Mine too, and it made it sit at a funny angle and almost impossible to connect in the center.
