I am a recent widow (January 2020) and I have some classic Buicks I want to sell but don't know where to begin to find their value. One is a 1970 GSX Stage I, automatic, Yellow w/black trim, survivor. Interior is in great shape and paint is actually pretty good. Any Idea what it is worth? The other is a 1965 Skylark Gran Sport, Red, not sure how much has been restored but it is in great shape. We had both cars at the national show/meet in Springfield, MO in 1915. Any help would be appreciated.

We are sorry for your loss.

You would get a better approximation of their values if you would post pictures.

Maybe a local classic car appraisal near were you live.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

When I first insured my cars with Grundy, they scheduled a local appraiser to come to my house and value them. That might be something to look into for a starting point.

So sorry for your loss and that you are having to sell theses cars under these circumstances. I will admit, I have thought about this very thing regarding my cars and 40+ years worth of collecting parts that my wife would have to somehow sell off. My heart goes out to you...

Regarding their value, it will depend on current condition of the cars cosmetically and mechanically, as well as options they came equipped with. It will also depend if they still have the original engine, transmission, and specific Stage 1 parts. The GSX can range anywhere from $50-$125k depending on the car.
