Here's an odd one - 1987 Buick turbo...Skyhawk.

I think the estimate of 43k is about 42k too high. These cars weren't really much back then. Like 160ish hp. Maybe 15.7 quarter mile times....pretty sad actually

The buy it now is 2,800.00 USD, but I agree that it's a slow little guy. But one wonders what a supercharged 3.8, tranny, etc. from a late model Buick Ultra would do in place of the 2.0L turbo.

It is an interesting car and I'm sure it's fun to drive, but, the estimate is WAY wrong.

I think that is the one with the Brazilian 4 banger.

This is not a turbo Skyhawk.
8th digit of the VIN is the letter M:

96 HP for this one, that's it!

    One of 3,757:

It does have "TURBO" on one of the covers under the hood and also has a 15 psi boost gauge in the dash cluster.

I saw that in the photos, but the VIN says M.
It also has the turbo piping, so someone modified it [IMG]

The interior on that thing is pretty good, looks-wise and condition. With the turbo motor it would be the most desirable of the Skyhawks. Though the motor is a bit anemic (although much better than what you could get in the early 80s).

I did an online VIN decoder check, also came back as the turbo engine for 8th digit M [IMG]

This 1987 Skyhawk wagon is cool, the front end looks like a Reatta:

A friend of mine in high school had a Sunbird Turbo GT convertible (her doctor dad bought it new for her). Black and silver, automatic car. I really liked it.

The neighbors across the street from my parents bought their son a new red ‘87 Skyhawk for his high school graduation gift but it was the base engine, not the turbo.
