    Team Buick....

Was out driving the GSX today like I do 2-3 times a week, one stop was Safeway to get groceries and..... they say Buick's are Grocery getters... So i do my best to keep that valid..... :)

I was at a stop light and a Honda Motorcycle pulled up to the light between the 3-4 car deep traffic and was next to me on my right. He was ready to "hole shot" the light and pull ahead of both me and the other car..... but... he was not expecting a BB Buick with MT ET Streets to show him who the proper stop light vehicle is to lead the pack..... :TU:

So as he engaged 1st gear I jumped on it when the light turned green, he and I launched same time, he did not expect me to get on it.... he floored it and so did I and my tires were warm enough for good traction.....:eek2:

lets just say after I pulled on him with a great stop light launch and he couldn't over take me, he was SHOCKED.... and gave me a thumbs up....:TU:

    VinMan out....

BIG difference between a Honda CBR 1100 that runs 9s off the showroom floor and a step thru 90.

    Good one...

I have surprised a few motorcycles in the Turbo as on pump gas it will run 12.0's on street tires. The big bikes will easily get by, the 600's have to work really hard to catch up.

Yep,there are a few 600s that will run high tens but it takes a good rider. My 83 Suzuki GS1100 ran some 10.40s at 130 when new,but I’m not a motorcycle racer so I was a first round duck. But I had a good time and got some time slips. Still got it.
