I need to completely fill the a/c system on my 67 Riv, and I've got a line on a cylinder of R12. The guy says it's a 30lb cylinder that's about 1/2 full, I'm guessing this should be plenty for my car, but just want to make sure before I buy it.

    cheers, Paul

I am pretty sure your car takes around 3 or 4 pounds.
15 pounds will fill your car a few times.

FYI- there is hardly any demand for the r12 but there is some demand so the price is more like the 134. I would grab it because our old inefficient condensors need the real deal r12. There is also a r12 replacement available. I can't recall the name of it off hand.
