How to remove BUICK emblem in 70-72 dash pad?

    I don't want to just start prying...since there is no rear access to it. I'm wanting to hit it with the Molotow chrome pen, but hoping I don't have to mask off the dash pad to do it.

    That's what you do Adam, just pry it out. The area it recesses into is wider at the bottom with a slightly smaller taper toward the outside, so it is a simple pressure fit.

    If you take it out and paint it, make sure you do not get any silver paint on the edges, because when you put it back in some of the silver will rub off onto the dash pad, and then you get to deal with that.

    Ask me how I know.

    Thanks! The chrome pen I am using is pretty fine, so it will just hit the raised portion. These molotow pens are pretty amazing.

    So it's a chrome paint marker? That sounds VERY handy if it looks good...
