Hello everybody. I recently installed a pertronix conversion and a new blaster2 coil, along with new plugs, wires. Starts a lot easier and runs smooth.. I plan to some engine upgrades down the line to the engine. I am wondering if the msd digital 6 would be worth it ?
I run the MSD Digital 6 Ignition for about 10 years now I think. Great ignition with some nice features. Is it worth it for you? Doesn't sound like it. If your current ignition does the job, you won't get any more power with the MSD. The MSD shows it's worth with a bigger cam and fatter carburetion. Right now, you probably don't need it. Spend your money elsewhere for now. My .02.
