Just completed the installation of factory air in my 73 Centurion Convertible. It wasn't an easy upgrade by any means but I'm glad I went this route instead of aftermarket air. The biggest challenge was the cutting of openings in the firewall needed for the air recirculation box. I bought the used components as "kit" from CTC Autoranch in Texas. Fortunately, they're close by, so I was able to create the firewall opening templates from a vehicle in their yard. My only deviation from stock was a Pro6ten compressor. Once completed, a local AC Tech came by the house to evacuate the system and fill with R12, which I supplied. The system works great with vent temps in the high 30s!
