On a 1967 Skylark two door coupe, we need:
    :kodak:
Really good Pics or (live viewing) of a clean '67 two door interior. Just need something to compare ours to. Biggest hold out here is that some numbskull started to "fix" the interior and left out/deleted parts. The door panels are all wrong...color and style-wise, headliner and side panels are wonky, but most of all, the rear arm rests are completely gone...Gone like a two or three inch gap between the seat and the side of the car. Maybe they replaced the seats with the wrong ones??? Although I think I remember there should be a full armrest panel with ashtray on both back sidewalls. Also the interior lighting seems to have been partially deleted...I don't know for sure, but I can not start looking for the missing bits until I can confirm WHAT is all missing. We are driving her as we work on her, so I don't want to tear up the interior more than necessary until I can research what should have been there before.

We are located in Houston, TX but do run back and forth to Dallas regularly if there is anyone interested in getting together to lets us see a good interior job. Thanks to anyone willing to take the time to share info.

You might try the Legendary Interior web site or get their catalog which show pics.
Does sound like wrong rear seat or wrong rear side panels.
Specials have wider rear seats than Skylarks I believe because the rear
armrests are built into the Skylark side panels so the Skyark seat is narrower.
The rear arm rests on a Special are more like the front ones. Hope this helps.
Check on ebay, you might find some examples there also.

Thank you. cowl tag & Vin both confirm Skylark, not Special. What I am thinking is the rear panels are wrong, because they are totally flat (and very obviously replacements).

Look at the 67 GS on ebay or linked on here. It's a 9K original, nice interior pics.
