Jewel of a Junkyard...Juicy Jiffy Jalopies

The fellow I work for at the restoration shop took me to a junkyard that is 44 years old and has the cars to prove it. I'm going add pictures in replies. Here is an old International Milk Truck.

 

This old Dodge still has a 3 stripe white wall and was factory two tone pink

 

"8" Lug wheels still adorn this mid sixties Pontiac wagon.

 

Early El Camino sports a full cargo of scrap.

 

Who says old Fords rusted? This Torino GT was nearly rust free.

This brown beast was one of at least a dozen such Cutlass cars.

I've always liked these '67-'69 Cudas. The short line of them in this yard were some of the most picked over rides there.

 

This old Mopar was a nice shade of rust.

 

Mid fifties Ford had the most corroded aftermarket wheel I have ever seen.

 

Well...........don't keep us in suspense! Is any of this stuff available?Location? Phone number/address? Please! ! ! I am ready for a road trip !

 

Precarious positioning of this '61 Chevy should offer a "DANGER" sign in front of it's hulk.

 

Somebody's old Hot Rod had a cool stance to it.

 

Old milk jug rested neatly behind a solid Studebaker Pickup truck.

 

Is that green '65 Pontiac Bonneville wagon complete?

Hey Junkman, The wagon is nearly complete. It has tilt wheel and some other cool options. Floors are really rusty on that car. The yard owner wants to sell that car whole and has a pretty high price tag on it. My boss wants it and is waiting for the $$$ to come down. Negotiations are going to be in the buyer's favor as the year wears on. The yard is closing in the fall.

 

Anthony, Those Cutlass cars are cool, but I'd sooner save one of the many Buicks...like this '67 Special for example. :Smarty:
