Just for the fun of sharing. Here are a couple of projects recently completed in the shop. The 70 STAGE 1
Convertible is concours restored, at the same level as the 1971 STAGE 1 Convertible that we restored featured on the cover of HMM March 2012 . The 69 GS 400 Convertible is a 4 SPEED. It was picked up several weeks ago and driven back home a 6 hour drive. Shop is fully booked with projects several years ahead. But there is always a space saved for another BUICK !!

I saw the '70 on one of my visits there, before the project started. It was in very presentable condition and very solid, and now it's over-the-top like everything else that that comes out of there! Keep up the great work. You folks are a credit to the industry.

It's nice to see that the owners kept the original colors. Both cars look great. I hope we can see them in person at some event in the future.

Did yall finish the 72 stage convertible that was FULLY loaded and special order color? Guy brought it up from Louisiana to the Nationals probably 12ishyears ago??

Had it in the car corral when there was such a thing there in the grass by the circletrack wall

Thanks . Actually the 70 Stage 1 Convertible HAD a color change BEFORE we did the frame off one it. Someone previously painted it black. We are glad it went back to the "original" color Burnished Saddle". The car has a lot of NOS parts on it. Even in the engine compartment. Over flow tank and washer bottle. NOS fan shroud and correct radiator. The car might be going up for sale. New owner will be the first to drive and own the newly restored example of one of the 232 STAGE 1 Convertible of which there are under 40 left. Here's a few more pictures.

Thanks for posting the additional photographs. The car looks fantastic. I personally think the brown paint looks great on a '70 Buick and I commend the owner for returning the car to its original hue.
