Lebanon Valley, NY May 25th and 26th

On Saturday May 25th the Northeast GS/GN Club is holding an annual event and then Sunday is Musclepalooza XVII. Last year I got a hotel room and spent the weekend and it was a blast.

Who plans on going this year?

 

Hell Yeah I'm going! I made it to the final round last year.. Dwayne and I had an extremely close race for me to make into the final. That Dwayne can drive!:3gears:

Awesome, I am sure there will be a great turnout. This will be my 3rd year going and I always have a blast. I hope to make it into the 13s this time out:3gears:

That is amazingly close, and here I was proud of cutting an .002 light a couple times:bglasses:

 

I would like to make it, car may not but hopefully i can. The car is tore apart right now and funds will dictate whether i drive it down or not. Back window is out, rear seat out, front seats coming out this weekend, painting the interior in the next couple weeks, then cutting out the rear 1/4 and fixing those. Have to replace the carpet and redo the interior, going from gold interior to black. Hopefully new exterior paint by May. Then new steering box and all new steering linkage, then shift kit in the tranny. Hoping new sway bars and disc brakes by late summer.

 

I wish I could get my 60' down in the 130's

You go to one of Dave Morgan's classes at The Auto Center and you will see 130's sixty foots...

 

I plan on it, although my fast 455 racing days are behind me. This year will be mid/high tens then hopefully bottom 8's high 7's next year

 

I plan to be there for the car show!

 

That was the closest margin of victory I have ever lost on. I'm still trying to get my white shorts white again. I plan on attending again this year and hope I can keep it going straight.

 

Dwayne & his son took home to 2 checks last year from this event! True diehards! They ran 2 classes with no cool downs!

 

Looks like it's going to be a nice turn out.

 

Any updates guys?

I have replaced all my suspension, added disc brakes and I am throwing in a stage 2 200-4r from Extreme Automatics. Hopefully Ill have some extra cash to re-do the fuel system and maybe replace the distributor. I feel like those 2 things are the last areas of improvement I have left before I have to start tearing into the motor:laugh:
