Dear Roger and V-8 Buick "long-roof" fans, Thanks for sharing! So what's da' latest on your wagon? Cheers, Edouard
My 1967 Sportwagon GS400 'Clone'. Factory double black with 67 400 engine, T400 auto, dual exhaust, GS 400 hood and grill, loaded with options including factory A/C, all new interior including three seats with power bench. power windows, AM/FM, 'Vista Cruiser top" with luggage carrier, new black/clear coat paint, rear sway bar, 15" rally wheels and red stripe radials. Car is a dream to drive and I can't go anywhere without people waving, thumbs up, or talking to me about how they grew up with a station wagon in the family. This could be the car I like the best over all the cars I have had in the past 20 years when I started collecting muscle and older cars.
That could end up being a really sharp wagon, especially if it is black with red pin stripe when finished
One of my old '69 SW 400's. Bought out of Hemmings in '94 (sans hood & wheels). Flew out to AZ to pick up, bought a bunch of parts in the yards, installed a new radiator & did a tune up, loaded it up, & drove it back to MD.
GONE but never forgotten !!!! Everyday drive to work car , then tow car , then race wagon ( brain goes crazy in your old age )
Put a BB in my 67 by changing motor mounts and not much else. I have a 67 GS to go by so it was easy. Go for it.
