    Own your mistakes. Then pay close attention to how your superior(s) deal with this.

    In any conflict or difference of opinion, focus on finding common ground within the issue being dealt with, not the other person(s) involved. Chances are quite good you can begin building a positive result from that point.

    ^ I like that. You can learn a lot about a person by how he handles a crisis. Especially important when you work for him or her.

    I call all my customers Mr.... and Mrs / ms..... Sir or maam.. even thoise 1/2 my age Some will request I use their first name but cannot bring myself to do so.
