Look like crank is drilled correctly?

    tubecatgs Finally a 4 speed......

    Does it look like it's drilled correctly for a pilot bushing/bearing? Being on a stand I can't get in there and measure.

    Your gonna have to hang it from a engine hoist and measure it. I doubt it's been finish machined. You have to turn down a bushing to fit

    Got it thanks. I guess I order the bushing/bearing and bring it to the shop when I bring the motor in...

    There’s also the possibility that the hole isn’t centered in the back of the crank. Mine was off a few thousandths. After being machined center and true the stock bushing OD was too small. My machinist made a couple custom bushings for me. He said the modern transmissions aren’t as forgiving as the old Muncie’s are.
