Looking for my 1970 Skylark (GSX replica) for new
or Nice grille, new headers or manifolds, Gsx grille logo, rear Seat belts, white interior,

in the Usa no big problem, for Europe high shipping costs & locally hard to find or unavailable. lot of new part companies do not ship to Europe or calculate high costs for shipping.

Is there way to reduce the shipping costs & is there Buick fan who can order & collect my small orders & shipp them to Europe in one time to reduce shipping

I Will try to set up small rare USA parts business in the Netherlands (Europe)

If someone has one of these parts or geels like doing business please contact me via gerard.pon@hetnet.nl

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

    Gerard,
You should post in the parts wanted section...shipping to you by US Postal Service is the cheapest. See if you know of anyone else in your area to save on shipping with combined orders.

Gerard, as always you have to know who has the parts for sale here.

I have found lots of parts here, 68 grills, doors, 67 doors/bumpers, grill, frontfenders etc.
In friesland there is/was a 70-72 Skylark 4 door parts car that might have some parts you looking for.

New grills are made in France for OPGI, and when talking to them you can order that new grill directly from France, otherwise it will make a world trip before it comes to you, and that would be crazy.
One Dutch member has done that once.
Orginals plastic grill are hard to find in good shape, I have a 72 grill I removed from my car, cause I do alot of checking and tuning the engine etc at the races, and found it best to remove it because they can easily break if someone leans on it by mistake. And that happened once, and the damage was minimal now..

If you do not like your parts to be shipped by post, I know a good adres who puts the parts himself in a seacontainer, and then it gets shipped to his usa carparts business adres overhere.
I have done 20 years of business with this man, and he is very good and has many many parts for our brand cars and other in stock.
And that includes new maintaince parts.
Also he sells Kendall oil for a very good price in comparison with the shops around here.

I'm going there this wednesday evening to look over some parts for a friend of mine. Where do you live?
Perhaps we can meet up there (Pijnacker) and you can ask the owner if he has the parts you need.

I have some NOS GM 1970 GS grilles still in the GM factory boxes. I may have a used one but I would have to verify this.

Robert and Erik both know me.

Oops I forgot to mention, that we have a very nice pair of exhaust manifolds for sale, they are allready checked and straightend and tested on a 1971 Buick 455 engine that was in a car but is on a stand now, waiting to find a new owner or car to go in.

Headers you will not find here and are best to order from TA Performance.

And interior is best to order the materials in the USA http://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/ and put or have them put in your car yourself.
Or have the materials made here, but that can be really expensive to have it done here.

Yes Gerard I have had really good dealings with Flyn for myself or for another Buick member downhere.
You can trust him, and his parts discription are always good.

I have to find an iron grill for my 72 car that would be better then that plastic grill.
Otherwise I will put some race mesh in it.

Gerard's last board activity was 3 years ago.

But I think I have his e-address somewehere, so I will send him an e-mail to inform him about your replies.

I've lived in Leerdam (Gerard still lives there) for a while,
can you imagine my surprise when I saw a white "GSX" coming from the other direction on a very narrow dike road, on a foggy Saturday afternoon in 2011

    Here's Gerard's web page :Comp:

Robert--I have one of the metal grilles I would send to you or to the Dutch guy in Texas if you will pay the cost of shipping. It is not perfect but would be fine for a race car.

Somewhere at the beginning of this year I believe, the US government didn't want to renew their visas for some reason.

He pulled a trick on Rob's 1969 Electra while it was parked at his ranch in Texas.
The car is now safe and sound at Frank's place in Austin, Rob and Nicole are setting off in it in a few weeks from now, for a 4-week road trip :TU:
