HI all, I am nearing the end of a 10 going on 11 year restoration of my 1975 LeSabre Convertible
I have found a nice steering wheel with the wood grain intact and I am just missing the button tri-shield emb upload_2022-12-14_12-9-28.jpeg
Emblem as pictured, I have tried Ebay, the Buick Farm, Fusick, obsolete auto-parts and Cars Inc no luck yet
The part # is 1246012 Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks Robert

Sadly they do not have the part and have no suggestions, this is the deluxe steering wheel in the LeSabre and it is likely that not many were ordered
I was hoping that that emblem might cross over to other years and models but that does not seem to be the case....

I think I have one off those emblems in my garage. I just don't know what I did with it. I bought a parts lot off a guy a couple years ago and it sure looks like an emblem that was in the pile.

I'll see if I can find it in the next few days of the blizzard doesn't nail us like they are predicting.

I found the emblem. I'm not sure what this is for. The part # on the back is 9746068.

    One prong is missing.

Hi Brian, Thanks for finding that, I am not sure if the inset ones will work as a flush mount but I am willing to try.
Would you be up to selling that one?
    Thanks Robert

Side pic. It is just under 3 actual quarters stacked up tall.

Wow that is quite the stash, The emblem I am looking for is about the size of a quarter it's flush mount with no tabs and is not a horn button

Thanks, yes those holes are for the 2 small pins, I am thinking that it maybe quite a while before I find the correct one
as I have been looking on and off for the better part of a decade so I may use something that is close while I continue the hunt,
so I don't have to look a the place where the emblem should be (which will bug me every time I see it)

Hi Nick, That is a good suggestion, I have already ordered a couple of similar ones off Ebay and 1 from a member here I will try and see which one is closest.
And if they are not then will try your suggestion. I think it will take a lot of luck to find the correct emblem...

There aren't any Tri-Shields on the the rear of a 67 GS. There's 1 on the dash, 1 on the Star Wars air cleaner and 1 on the horn pad..... that's it. Not counting the valve cover decals.
