Hugger can i make these work? with a good Exhaust Guy? Or No? What should i do with these. They are nice pipes.
They will work fine, just will need a mild 120ish° bend and they will be aimed where they need to be,..should be cake for any exhaust shop, just mount the hangers to the bumper mount the tips and center them with some paint paddles then once the tailpipes are in position just make the tips and pipes come together
You can go back another several inches from there and cut,..the tip will occupy roughly 8in of the available real estate by itself then you gotta room for the new bend so you or they muffler shop may even cut back as far as the tire to get the correct approach
Steve - Did you talk to Mike at TA? (I was hoping he would jump in here...) It may be that they sent you the wrong part. I'd check with him before you start cutting.
Yes maybe I will. I’ll call him tomorrow. If i can keep i will. But i’ve seen guys with this exhaust. And N-25 cut outs. And exhaust not through openings. Just bent down. under bumper. That would be ridiculous. I can’t do that.
Mikes exhaust are torque tech? That was The best company. Don’t know nowadays but my torque tech tailpipes fit perfect both my Chevelle and GS.
She misunderstood that you were referring to the very tip of the tail pipe, she thought you were referring to the whole tailpipe itself as there are systems out there where the whole tailpipe is angled down, and ours is straight with a little turn on the end. We don't make a completely straight tailpipe, and never have. Guys who have N-25's just cut the angled tip off an install an extension. To my knowledge there isn't an out of the box N-25 system available.
Yes that’s fine. Thanks Mike. Nice pipes. I have no problem figuring these out. Now i have no doubts. Appreciate answering the thread. I will post later when i make the necessary modifications.
