    I would BUY the bathtub 2 door Packard, but how would one practically go about doing so. The Studebaker wagon with sliding roof is extremely rare. I would buy that car too if the front clip is still there.

    The problem is, I bet a person would go in and even if serious, they would say 'not for sale' or say $2500. Ha, LOL.

    The yard is "probably" the way it is because of non competitive pricing or a desire to not sell whole cars over the years.

    Or, maybe, not enough buyers IN THAT AREA.

    I've learned I have to let it go. This is America and if these yard owners don't want to sell to potential restorer/owners, they don't have to.

    I agree on the Lincolns, Love the 55-57's. Would buy a 2 door hardtop in a heartbeat. I have seen 2 57 Lincoln 2 door hardtops crushed in the past 2 years, both easily restorable.

    Actually, the prices at this yard are very good. Whole cars are going for little more than the scrap metal value....
