I'm thinking it't time............ Maybe because of my age? too many cars ... I really don't know anymore..
Purchased in 2013 from the second owner and restored in my shop in my spare time.. (every part of other than top and chrome)
This car has no patch panels and other than a new carpet , the interior is all original and shows like a two year old car, the batwing steering wheel is also excellent (sourced from a member here)
I really can truthfully answer all questions.... The carb is a 243 and I know that's been disputed.. the distributor and radiator are also not correct.. I tried for years to buy these parts !
I'm thinking BAT .. I do have a price in mind. prefer to sell privately .
    Green/ Green /w/black top..no p/s probably not the best color/option combo...
All options are on the table .. All thought's appreciated ..

    Regards.. Frank IMG_0775.jpg IMG_0785.jpg IMG_0787 (1).jpg IMG_0775.jpg IMG_0785.jpg IMG_0787 (1).jpg

    Beautiful car.

I would get in contact with Brothers Collection in Salem Oregon.
they have a taste for the rare cars, including an x 4 speed and 71 triple black vert stage as well as

    • A 1970 Chevelle SS LS6 454 with 34.2 original miles.
    • Four 1969 Pontiac Trans Am convertibles — out of eight produced.
    • A 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350, one of four built that year.
    • Forty Corvettes, including three from 1953, the model's first year.
    • A 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spyder worth about $8 million.
They are reclusive, maybe message them through v8tv

I would message this channel with info on what you have.

Damn, I was hoping to be in a $ position to buy this one when the time came. To me, the options/colors are perfect.

Agree with Jerry, need more info and pics. Interior and engine pics? Restored for concours judging? Numbers matching engine and trans? Correct rear end? AC? Options?

I have a few more photos I can share today.. I emailed some to a member this morning and as usual , I cant seem to post them here.. not the site, just me!
I can and will text or email them to a member who would post them for me . That would answer a couple of question for you..
This car has no options other than gauges and tach.. No power steering... The engine/trans/rear/ are born with.. the distributor and radiator are not.
Concours judging ? The car was invited to the Lime rock concours labor day weekend but life got in the way and I could not attend... (I really wanted to see what it would do at a very large show)
I have competed and won my class with my 1941 Buick convertible at the Hemming's concours a couple of years ago.. My stage 1 although very nice would not win .. the interior and all the glass are original, shows some wear and I did not do the paint mark and decal thing on the under carriage..
I am the third owner and have the original title and paperwork to prove it..
Anyone with serious interest is welcome to view/drive the car.. I have not started or driven the car in 4 months.. you can be the first .

    ctauto,
Beautiful 72' Can you tell me if your paint is Hunter Green (color code: 48)? I am in the process of restoring a 1972 Stage 1 car that was/will be, painted Hunter Green and I wanted to see some good examples of that color.
