    There is a mistake in the article that Max posted. The stroke of a 425 is the same as a 401. The article has the 401 with a slightly longer stroke then the 425.

    Interestingly, Buick never made 264-specific headgaskets. They used the 4" bore gaskets from the 322 in the 264.

    Has anyone ever tried to replicate the Turbo Nailhead, or even that experimental 215 valvetrain???

    I thought that too.
    The 425 turbo was all in at 360hp at 3600 and 708 ft lbs at 2600 rpm. Wondering if was well suited for the Wildcat or was never tried in the Skylark body due to the factory ban on no more than 400 ci on the smaller body?
    Wondering how fast the car would be or more used to tow yachts..

    I would think that a 401 version would have sufficed in the Skylark.
    Find a Beater '62 Skylark, and jam it in there now.....call it the XP400
