Saw that last night. with the rear sump, and the gs manifolds it's probably out of a 65 or 66. Manifolds are worth more that the current bid. To far for me.
Winning bid: $510.01. That is quite a bargain if the 401 rebuild was decent. The heat riser is even still on the one exhaust manifold. Quite the bargain winning bid.
I suspect it is not rebuilt just by the way it is all painted up......yeah, the manifolds and covers are worth the bid but i really doubt that if it was truly a rebuild it would be let go for that kind of money....... Peace WildBill
Just look at how the temperature sending unit in the head is totally painted......and the oil pressure sending unit is just taped off at the top.....and the coil mounting bracket bolts in the intake manifold.......bet that motor is NOT a re-build.....maybe 30 years ago when it was put in the street rod behind it in the pictures....
