Hi all, i have rebuilt my engine and discovered the heads are cracked beyond reasonable repair. July last year ordered a set of aluminium heads from TA unfortunately Covid delays have left us with known manufacturing or delivery date. Therefore i need a set of decent heads to throw on to get the beast rolling and hopefully to be ready for my friends wedding April. I could go for another set of 430 heads or potentially early 455 heads as i have done the oil mods and using all new TA roller rocker gear. The only catch is i am located in Melbourne, Australia so shipping would need to be worked out and calculated on top of the price. I look forward to hearing from anyone that may be able to assist. Well I have one 70 head,I should have another,or maybe 2 71 heads.While the heads will be somewhat reasonable,shipping will be a killer.I just shipped one 350 head to Colorado with UPS and it costs a whopping $160.00.Bruno.
Wow, just plugged the numbers in to Fedex.com for 120lbs 24x12x12 insured for 400 USD, came back with the cheapest price of 1925.00USD. Again WOW! Michigan to Melbourne
Wow, i am definitely on the wrong side of the planet when it comes to Buick parts. It looks like it may be cheaper and easier for me to board a flight and bring them back and pay an excess baggage fee. May have to just sit and wait my turn for the TA heads. Thanks for all you assistance.
