I'm at my brothers' place in Pa. and don't have the website for the Year One site. Can't seem to find it with a google or through the normal Year One connection.

If anyone sees this and has the one that works, could you please post it or send to me in a PM or email?

    Thanks,

TERRY, GREG, DAVE, & JOEL: We really could use a reliable forum somewhere. That thing has had me 90% locked out for nearly a year now. Not having a reliable FAST forum is gonna start costing us racers sooner or later. I'm not that savvy with websites, but Donny Brass, Frank Remlinger, and numerous other guys around here are. I won't gripe without offering to help, PM me, if I can do some leg work.

They just need a better server. With the popularity of FAST growing every season too many poeple are hitting the forum. This used to happen on Moparts years ago. The server had to grow along with the site to handle the bandwidth demand. Moparts went thru about 6 versions to finally arrive at one that could handle the demand. Only problem is the monthly cost to maintain the website. Year One may look into selling advertising space from some of their vendors to keep the cost down. Just a thought...........

Same problem with the olds site, realoldspower. Lots of people looking in. Guess we need some oddball brand like a Mercury or a Studebaker with fewer "fans".   I would have thought the Olds site would be in that category, too, but isn't. In fact it's in a resurgence with all the "Gutlass Cutlass" owners out there (78-87 RWD) that now know how to make them really run and still look stock.

With that knowledge, I would suggest a "members only site" that FAST & PS participants could register for, and gain access to.....WTF, maybe I just need to convert the car to a salt racer. I hear the flats are building back up.

What I find ironic is that "V8Buick" is literally available 24-7 ( I don't remember the last outage), and it is run by our racing and car buddy peers ........... :Do No: No big corporate sponsor behind this "site of sites" ...... :TU:

With that said, I need to get off my a$$ and make a little donation again. We've got it pretty good over here.

You should try Gonzo's site, not a lot of traffic over there.

Just heard tonight, that there will be a new, and hopefully much more reliable, F.A.S.T. forum starting up in the next few days.
