Hi all, picked up this 69 skylark custom 350-2 a few weeks ago. just wanted to introduce myself. Currently just getting familiar with these cars before I start to do any repairs.

Looks like I have a few leaks and seems to be a little low on oil pressure.

welcome from FL. sharp lookin 69. Are you looking at a oil gauge, or is the idiot light coming on? Soon you will learn oiling is an issue with all these 67 and up v8's. There is tons of good info here on this board, Oh, be careful walking around in the rear of the car you might bump one of those exhaust pipes and that won't feel good. :)

A little late to the game here...

Another welcome from Florida! That's a sharp looking Step Child you have there. My 69 is my first Buick and I have learned soooo much from V8 Buick about it. Post up some more photos when you can.

Welcome... get used to the leaks...... how low is the oil pressure? Some folks will say anything above 0 psi and it will run for a long long time. As long as you're getting 10 PSi increase for every 1000 rpm you should be ok.

Welcome from Colorado. Oil pressure can be from a few things. Luckily you have easy access to the oil pump. Not a difficult rebuild. Typical unless the engine is buggered.
