My understanding from someone who has been in contact w/Mark on the console woodgrain is that he's going to make it (prob. already working on it) and that it'll be the correct grain. IIRC dash/console are Rosewood/Walnut or vice versa or maybe different woods but they're not the same "wood." Mark is a stickler for detail, hence how this project/product came about as he wanted correct woodgrain for his Skylark and as @ToddsGS said, his dash kits are tops - By far the best we've ever had.

Side note (Todd, I'll delete if you want) - If anyone has a super nice original bezel w/o woodgrain (i.e. black background), I'm in need of one for a base interior GS. Will purchase or I have several un-cracked originals for partial trade. For the right one (It'd have to be darn near perfect), I'd even consider getting one of my originals re-chromed & buying/including the woodgrain kit listed above in trade.

    I will definitely stock them once they're available . . . .

I don't believe these will be offered anywhere else besides myself and Mark.

The set I recently received from tpp was not trimmed correctly where the console lid push button is located the hole is to small and the console chrome insert piece wasn’t trimmed correctly either. I Will wait till the new sets are available. Please keep us posted. Thanks

I agree, I wish everybody put the time and passion into there products as Mark did with his dash decals.

I just received a few sets from Mark. They are fantastic! (From those of us who have "been around the block more than a few times," should you be interested, I suggest you buy now!)
On the other hand, I must point out (again) that the TPP cluster, and some of the photos above, lack the black outline on the ledge around the woodgrain...

Yep, overall the TPP Dash Bezels are nice but for the "Concours" guys you will have to mask the bezel off and paint that section. :(

Not sure if it’s super nice but it’s super cheap.

Was the original wood grain a decal on the radio bezel?

    If you're asking about 1970 - 1972 Radio Bezels the answer is yes ,. . . .

    Thanks. I was. Just curious.

I think 1968 is painted or something. I have to remove the ugly 1980s radio from mine still. I have hopefully working original 1968 AM and AM/FM mono radios to choose from to put back in it.

To elaborate... No woodgrain, or "applique," on 69/9 instrument or radio bezels. A dull argent/aluminum paint background, and black on the raised letters...
