  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things.   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete. The shipping will be factored on your delivery address and insurance. I will be sending the contact information all of you have sent me to Teresa at Kochs. Send in your wheels, horn pad and hardware and paint color sample if applicable.     Responded to you in PM, John. Jim Rodgers, appreciate the help, as you know I have been very busy and don't get on here near as much as I'd like. Anyone can feeL free to contact either Richard or myself to get the scoop. It makes no difference if you are a GSCA member or not, everyone in the Buick community is treated the same. Thanks to everyone for their patience, hopefully the wait is worth it to you, as Richard swears this is the very last run on these things. AnD, BTW, yes, I am collectng the deposits for Richard since he was gone. This is NOT a separate deal and when the headers are close to completion all the money will be forwarded to the GSCA. Geesh, all I am trying to do is help!

    Headers about done, spoke to Richard yesterday and he says it is time to get final payments and shipping costs sent in. I will be sending a letter off to all of you who have them on order requesting final payment. If any of you who PayPaled me have a different address than the one I show on your receipts, you need to let me know.

    Took longer than any of us would have liked, but it looks like they are about here and Richrd again verified that the club is not doing this project again! So, any of you on the fence, there are a few extra sets coming. Get em now while you still can.

    These headers are not made by Gemini but someone who bought them out years ago, according to my understanding.

    I've had a rough week, my computer died for 4 days but is now back up, plus I have had to make yet another trip out of town, so I am running late with getting letters off to you who ordered headers! Those of you who Pay Paled me your deposit, and anyone else wanting a set, in speaking with Richard today, he indicated that you generally would add $75 shipping to the header cost of $680 if you are east of the Mississippi, and $65 if west. Since the packages are oversize and somewhat heavy, I guess it still costs maybe more than it should if you are closer to Calif, as these headers will be drop-shipped to you directly from them. So, at this point, anyone who wants to PayPal me, lets get them in asap, as we expect a call any day that they are ready. Pay Pal to buick455@juno.com Anyone I don't hear from via Pay Pal that has already sent me a deposit will be getting a letter from me! :grin:
