I'm watching his thread. Haven't seen an update in a while. Everyone is wanting to know if the Qjet will work.

I'm surprised no one asked what he has for gears out back or did I miss it?
Has to be non posi 2:76 or close.
From what I have read here 3:23 are minimum for a 350 and I think why he mentioned worse low end than the stock 2 barrel. I get the cam need more rpms but am I wrong?

    It has a 256 rear.

Bottom of page 4 I have a video. I've made progress with the double pumper and I have a wideband afr coming this week to further tune with. It was hard to dial in the pump shot with the sp3. Right now low end burnout power is similar to the 2 barrel maybe a little better but it pulls much harder everywhere else.

Is there a $ value/inch? (Did you see my PM?)

You don't want to know the value per inch....:)
Yes on pm. No plans yet.

Run it at the track with the 2.56 gear, see how it does:)

Or some 32” tall tires and 4.56 gears, would be the same as 3.73 with normal tires.

275/60/15 is what I'm running now which isn't helping me with burnout power. I'd probably melt a regular size tire. I actually put a small sedan tire on my firebird once. Like a 205 something. It was a nicely built 355 with cam, headers, performer rpm, flat top pistons etc. I literally went out and did quarter mile burnouts with it. That car was fun but I wasn't responsible with it AT ALL. I'd hit 140 in it often. Alot of times on a rural on ramp that was on the way to work. It was fun. 88 formula firebird with a t-top.

This pic is funny. My formula hood wouldn't close with the tall intake so my brother and I took this hood off of v6 parts car and cut a hole in it. I later found a rare Corvette air cleaner base on the web that would allow my formula hood to shut. My first car. 20210317_224644.jpg

4 years after the firebird I bought my dream car. Fell in love with skylarks when I was 12. One was forsale for 300 bucks right down the street from us. A 70 with a gs hood. Begged my mom to buy it. We were lower middleclass. Had 8 siblings. It didn't happen but I kid you not. I got a job when I was 18 making 8 bucks an hour. I got a small loan and bought this blue skylark off of Ebay for 4500 bucks right out of dallas Texas. I flew down there with my best friend and brother one way tickets and drove it home. This was my first skylark. 20210317_225244.jpg
