Hi Paul thanks for your note, we should take delivery late next month.
I think we borrow the nick names mostly from the US - Land Yachts - Barges - Aircraft carriers - boats.
Half of my friends cant wait to see it I think the other half believe I've gone mad.
    Cheers

I put coilovers on my car so that I could adjust ride height. I went with QA1 suspension. Ordered from Jegs out of the USA. I actually went with a full suspension kit.
I am not sure if that option is available for a big car. I have a 67 GS400 (A-body).

    Thanks Ed,
should I post these questions elsewhere on the site to see if anyone has already done it before?

Hi Cam. Yes, you might get more eyes on your questions in other forums. Check out the options. If you aren't sure where to post, "the bench" usually works for me.

Edit: also use the search function. There is lots of information to be reviewed. Maybe even answers to your questions.

Yes I went with Air and its brilliant, in NZ an LVV (Transport Engineer certification for modification) is required though. Air Ride has a kit and is a simple install. I installed the tank etc on a removable platform that's mounted under the parcel tray, can still fit the spare in place.

Welcome to the group. I am from Vancouver British Columbia. My Mom was born in Christchurch. I have been wanting to go spend a month or two in New Zealand to find some relatives and enjoy the beauty. It looks like a pretty cool classic car scene there. I would love to have my car there to tour the country. One day I need to go back. Last time I was in NZ I was a child. I would love to take my daughter there. We both hold NZ citizenship. It would be nice to have an extended visit. Your 225 looks like a really nice car. Enjoy cruising that big old girl.
