The ad says the original wheels are included on vintage tires as well.

This is a documented GS. The correct wheels come with the car, the badging seems to vary greatly on these depending who's on the assembly line that day etc. And it belongs to a forum member that's trustworthy. Enough for me, period.

Thanks Gary, I try to represent everything as honest as I could. The last thing I would want is someone to arrive at my doorstep after traveling who knows what distance and be disappointed. I go deep into what to expect of the car during my conversations with those who have inquired.

And in the spirit of transparency.. I do not have the original air in the tires, and my rear marker lightbulb is a reproduction instead of NOS. Sorry for the letdown everyone..

    ;)

And just as sudden as she arrived, she is gone. Went for a farewell cruise this morning before the transfer. New owner seems like a great fella who shares the same vision with the car. I am happy it went to a good home. Fair winds and following seas my friend.

Need to send us a note in the mail. I've got to sent a "wet" signature to the insurance company to delete the car.

    Thanks!!

PS: WHY (!!) did new owner load backwards? Nose should always be to the front for proper weight distribution.

Thanks for the heads up Mr. Conley! I’ll send the letter out with Tuesday’s mail.

I have no idea.. at that point funds were exchanged and paperwork was complete so I had no say on what he should do with his car.

Hopefully it stays sunny side up and does not do a nasty tail wag..

    Congrats!

I wondered the same thing about the trailer, but it looks like he has plenty of tongue weight.

Congrats Taulbee! Reason for loading that way: I'd say 1/2 ton. Trailer looks really long in front of the axles and if he loaded the car the "right" way, I'd say his F150 would be dragging bumper.

    Thanks gents!

I am currently enjoying the open possibilities of what to put in the garage next. Heavily leaning towards a 4 season vehicle, v8, manual, 4x4. I wouldn't kick a 60's era Jeep J series truck out of the garage :)
