Not sure what it’s called

    It’s bolted on the intake manifold and is connected to the carburetor. I need to find on in better shape with the bolts. There’s a pic below.

    It’s the Choke coil. Thinking it’s a 71 year. Search on V8 for choke and you’ll find a bunch of threads. But post it in the parts wanted area for your application.

    Yes, 71. We need to know if it's 350 or 455, and 2 or 4 bbl.

    There is a number stamped in the top piece. I can’t make it out but that might tell which one it is.

    That is for a 72 motor.

    1970, 1 Mounting hole
    1971, 2 Mounting holes
    1972, 3 Mounting holes

    Does the number on top really make a difference. Just asking because the pic Brian posted above looks exactly like the one I have but numbers are different? Just curious to know.

    It's the rod that is different.

    Mine is missing the rod,but if it is cosmetically nicer than what you have,let me know.
