1965 Pontiac Grand Prix 2dr Sport Coupe It is powered by a YS code 389 with tri power carburetors, and backed up by a 3 speed automatic transmission. I think it is fake, have emailed him several times since Friday (after Lucas shared the link with Joe but not me :p) with no response...... You can also see that the "email me at" email is not correct.

Dont poke the mullet hive Chris, we take our flowing manes seriously! :D

I mean, look at that! Crisp clean (lack of) sideburns, the appropriate 10% /90% ratio of length between sides vs. top/back, exquisitely styled to be the envy of ANY Billy Ray Cyrus fan! That is a pro level 'do!

Got this email today, pretty positive this is a scam, I am going to play along a little and see what he says next.

Thank you for your interest in purchasing my '65 Pontiac Grand Prix Sport Coupe. My name is John Sanders, I'm the 2nd owner of this beauty, my father was the original owner, he purchased the car in 1966 brand new from a dealer. The Grand Prix looks and runs like new, has 3 speed automatic transmission, odometer reads 98,399 original miles, it is powered by a YS Code 389 335HP Tripower 8 cyl engine, White exterior with Blue Vinyl/Cloth Buckets/Console interior. The paint, interior, and undercarriage is excellent and all are originals. Car was driven all his life in San Jose, CA. I have decided to sell it because I'm not able anymore to take care of this beauty, 2 months ago I moved from California to Georgia and I don't have a place where to store it.

I will attach some pictures with the car, If you do have sincere interest please get back.

    Have a wonderful day

His name is probably Ivan Sanderczvilli and he's from Tbilisi, Georgia.:D

My vote is scam...it's too good to be true. Nobody gives away a Poncho like that unless they've lived under a rock for the past 15 years.

Definitely a scam. I made some inquiries about the car and got the same exact response as Chris. I made some additional inquiries and received this response:

Hi Jon, thanks for your reply!
I have brought the car with me here in Swainsboro GA, for 2 weeks I have kept the Grand Prix in my friend's garage. I realize that I'm getting old and I don't have enough time to take care of this beautiful vehicle and I have decided to post it for sale. After not long I found a person who was very interested in buying the car, it was from California and he requested the Pontiac to be delivered at his address. I have been in contact with a local shipping company from Dublin, GA (Erdrich USA Shipping) and I have prepared the entire delivery process, but his leasing wasn't approved, now the vehicle is already stored at the shipping company here in Georgia ready to be delivered. Due to my healthy condition and summer holidays I'm also preferring the transaction to be done through a 3rd party company.
The transaction will be done through Erdrich USA Shipping, they will handle the delivery, payment and papers exchange. Using Erdrich USA Shipping you will benefit from their 21 Days Buy-Back Guarantee Program, and you will have 3 weeks to test and inspect it before I receive any money. As far as a shipping quote it will not be so expensive, they can offer the following rates: $0,65/mile for enclosed transport and $0,50/mile for open transport. Let me know which one suits you better and please keep in mind that the car is fully insured during transport. Estimated delivery time is 3-5 days, but we will have an exact arrival date after it is loaded.
