Anson, No, V8buick.com does not require that you host your pictures elsewhere. But when we had the v-bulletin software, hosting full size pictures was a huge performance overhead, so to keep the board running quickly, we had to go to the thumbnail pictures. I never cared for those, so I, and many others, went out and hosted our pictures online somewhere else (photobucket), and then just posted a link to that picture, which would than show up full size in the thread. The new software's search engine is designed to ignore pictures now, so it won't hurt board performance, and we can also select an option after you upload a picture directly, to show it full screen in the thread.
