How can an HOA force you to sell your vehicle????
My brother had a new home built in Tenn. & asked IF he could construct a seperate garage in the back. Was told IF it matches the house & the neighborhood no problem. Warned him of HOA's. Told me NO PROBLEM it's ALL been settled. Well here it is 5-6 years later & the HOA is breaking his b--lls so bad about working on his own cars in HIS OWN garage with the garage doors CLOSED he now wants to sell & get out.
It ALL depends on how snouty/touty the neighbors are. Mostly lawyers, doctors, etc. Never know what it's like to work & get your hands dirty.
HOA's have nothing to do about America being free.

If the mileage claim is correct, it looks like a good deal.

Lazy people think everyone should be lazy. I think it's the undisclosed fees that got him.

I would never move anywhere with a homeowner Association. Screw that. I will paint my house whatever color I want and I will build whatever I want on my property (as long as the City of Seattle says I can LOL).

I never understood the "original owner" claim. Is that supposed to make the car worth more? What if a concours GS Stage 1 was selling and the owner disclosed that the car had 10 owners? Would that make the car worth less?

66electrafied Just tossing in my nickel's worth

That car has a nice options load in it! Just about every one you could get!
I would probably go after this one if I didn't already have my Electra. The first year cruise control had me sold.
The price isn't bad, it looks like original paint and it's definitely original upholstery and that roof is very old, so it's worth a look if you want an unmolested one of these.

Apparently if you are a Mopar guy it does matter. Not too long ago a 1 owner Hemi Cuda
With original rust sold for $270,000

Yes, it would. The more owners the harder it is to establish the cars true history. The original owner who bought the car new and still has it should be able to tell the whole story of the car.

When I check the phone number, it comes back for a guy named Don (just like the name of the seller of the Electra) and he's a realtor.
So what about his story about renting the house...?

Phones are not always a land line.
I bought a phone at Walmart in South Carolina, ended up with a pre paid SC area code number.

    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

Almost every first gen Riviera I've ever seen has the glove box door like that, the spring switch for the box light pushes them open crooked even when closed. Mine had the same issue and drove me nuts until I just removed the switch, then it closed nice and level. I bet this has the same thing going on.

  19. After I fixed my glovebox door the millionth time, I went to a mercury switched glued to the actual door to active the light. The map light switch did the same number on my original door.

I cannot believe that anyone would make you sell such a beautiful car. It looks far better than most of the vehicles on the road today. Sorry for the forced sale. At best, it is going to make someone else extremely happy.
