These are the two most impressive cars to me. Tom's V8 in the 9's, and Paul's V6 has been in the 8's. Both of these cars are the cleanest you'll ever see. Period.

    Greg's X4.

I wish I could remember the other fellow who ran a very quick Wildcat. There was an old thread that discussed his car but for the life of me I can't find it.

for me its a toss up between gesslers car and anything Bruce Kent is building/driving. Being out west, I see Bruces car more than any, and it always amazes me

It was totaled in a trailer towing accident in '91 while going to the Norwalk event.A lady in a van ran a stop sign,I was going 50mph at the time and never had a chance to even hit the brakes. We when into a ditch and rolled the truck and trailer, thankfully we were all wearing seatbelts and walked away.Sandy got pinned between me and my son and had a broken clavical and we had some nasty black and blue marks but it could've been alot worse.
The lady was hurt badly but survived. She had good insurance and we recieved excellent settlements and got to keep Thumper.but she was too bad to repair so there are parts of her in many other local cars.Scat had the motor in it for over 10 years before it expired, had nearly 1000 runs plus some street miles in my sons car.I've thought about resurrecting Thumper with another 70 GS but never got around to it,I still have the old trunk lid with the bunny painted on it.Thumper was running 10.30-10.40's with iron stage2's which was fast back then.
And thats the rest of the story.
    Thanks for asking.

    Gary,

You really ought to sell that 77 Skyhawk and build "Thumper II"..

I personally would love to see it.

Besides, it would give an elderly retired guy like you, something to do over the long Ohio winter months.. :puzzled:

Well I have been waiting to see my pick show up, but hasn't. Alot of cars in the thread are close seconds, but I love this car. Wish It would show up here on the board more often. Before this board was around, I remember seeing it in Popular hot rodding I believe about 16 years ago. I think it was running 11.30's, loved it ever since.

Gary Laughlin's car. Last time i seen that car was at Quaker for the BPG event, he was pitted with us that year and it was running 9.80's i think and he ended up running a 9.45 at BG??? I could be wrong on those times, but i know it was fast.

    Great guy and great car!!!
