Package shelf felt pad

Did the 1970 GS have the felt pad under the package shelf when it came from the factory?

Mine did. Pretty sure it was jute.

Mine was. I got it from legendary. The package tray had to be cut to fit. Mostly length, front to back. I put the jute on and then cut both at the same time. Pretty easy.
