I've noticed recently that when posting photos in threads, the option to post the full image - so users don't have to click on the thumbnail to enlarge - hasn't been working. In fact, I can't see the image of the thumbnail, either.

At first, it was when I tried posting screenshots but now, it seems to be pictures I physically take with my phone.

My camera settings haven't changed and I cleared the v8buick cache last night. Anyone else notice/having this issue?

Brett, here is a test photo, taken with my phone, but posted using a PC... Test Photo.jpg

It worked just fine for me... this is the full photo option

Yes. It auto resizes to your particular screen and resolution size (phone, laptop, monitor, etc). If you click the photo it’s shows full size.

None of mine will post like that.

It's just a blank, white thumbnail.

I noticed that in some people's posts. If you click the white thumbnail, it opens the photo in another screen at full size.

That's true for the above white thumbnail. Weird.
I wonder if it's an issue with the data, or the browser?

Which browser are you using to post these graphics? Maybe there was an update that broke it?

    Right.

The "full image" isn't an option for me now.

    Odd.

I've made no changes to the camera settings on my phone.

I’ve had problems posting multiple photos in full image. Posting just one seems to be fine.

    I'm using Google Chrome.

I just went back and looked at a couple dozen pictures that were all different sizes. Quite a few were the same size you posted above and I can't find a "resolution" setting in the camera settings to change it.

I just read that Samsung removed the option to change picture and video sizes.

I just resized this to 1468×1194 or 40%.

    Same result.

This is the lowest resolution setting.

Samsung removing the option to change the default size of photos was absolutely ridiculous.

As previously mentioned: the photo above was reduced to the smallest size possible on this phone and still didn't give me a discernable thumbnail or the option to post the full image. Up until the last couple days, this had only been an issue with screenshots and now it's all of my photos.

Looks like going forward, I'll be saving JW some bandwidth. Haha

    I did, yes.

I also saw the full image button as well. Both of which have been missing in my previous posts.

Looks like I won't be posting pictures any longer unless I use my laptop.

How are getting the photos from the phone to V8Buick? Are you doing it all directly on the phone?

    The plot thickens...

It seems to me that the Samsung photo software might be producing malformed photo data.

I can't looks at that right now.... So just a theory.

May be relevant, may not - I posted a 8mb .PDF file the other day and it also came up with a blank thumbnail but the file was good.

I download my pics to the computer then upload to V8. I used to have to copy pic to desktop and make smaller or they would not upload. Resized_617utN-fprL._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_FMwebp__1822312405678068.jpeg
