All, On my 72 GS I have constant 12v power to my AC connector that plugs onto my compressor. It does not matter what position my selector switch is in (AC, HTR, Vent, etc). I can't turn it off, so I have wired a temp on/off switch, but would like it to function correctly. I checked a friends 72 GS and the power shuts off when the dash selector switch is on something other than AC. (Which is what I would expect) I checked my selector switch on my car today and it tests ok?? Any ideas on why else I have constant 12v power at the plug? Hoping it is not a short in the wire somewhere.
