Sorry, I cannot stop thinking about this. Our daughter who runs a low cost dance studio so others got the same chance as she was blessed with had a tragedy late yesterday. One of her 13 year old students that Natalie is also friends with had to call 911 yesterday when her Mom suffered a massive heart attack yesterday at their home. Paramedics got there fast & a friend who came to pick her up for dance removed her from the room while her Mom was attended to but they were unable to bring her back. Her Mom was so excited about the dance convention this weekend that she has worked so hard for her daughter to be able to attend & now she is gone. Andrea has no brothers or sisters and her Dad is scheduled this coming Monday to go in for surgery on a brain tumor. It is so unbelievably sad. Her Mom worked at night at every available event to try and afford dance and our daughter adores Andrea and let them pay reduced amounts as they could so she could develop her wonderful talent she was blessed with and will continue to do anything to make sure she has this positive outlet in the midst of this trial. A dance costume designer already stepped forward and insisted on making Andrea a custom made dress for one of her next dance competitions that she will dedicate to her Mom. Okay, I am getting choked up again so got to close. Please pray for her Dad this coming Monday to get through this surgery so she doesn’t lose everyone and for his care. Our daughter had Andrea stay with her last night and Andrea does not want the other dance moms and children to worry about her and still wants to be able to perform this weekend (no news on funeral status). Just crushing to see a vibrant,hard working,and sweet 37 year old Mom to suddenly pass like this and make sense of it all. Dang Fritz, You are so right, that is a very sad story. I don’t know this little girl but I definitely have her family in my prayers and thoughts. Wow, hoping for the best buddy!
Wow, just got off the phone with my wife. Andrea was asking Natalie (our daughter) if it “would be okay” if she still got her Mom a Mothers Day gift even though she is gone. Natalie told her absolutely and asked her what it was. A bigger light blue stuffed bear (her Moms favorite color) holding a smaller blue bear. Natalie went to get it for her and asked Andrea if it was okay that the bears were actually attached together. Andrea told her “yes that fine,that’s why I liked it”. I cannot even describe how sweet this poor little girl is. Guess I shouldn’t say “poor” because even though there were always earthly issues she was so rich to be raised by such a wonderful woman. Wow again, her solo dance Saturday night Andrea insists on doing (asked if the Moms could put a blanket on one chair like her Mom is there) and after her Moms initial symptoms being difficulty breathing (she then passed out after Andrea called 911) and Andrea’s solo is Take my breath away.Song was chosen months and months ago People are going to be weeping
