Leanne and I are now separated and I’m trying to bring things back together. Our boys are 5 and 7 and they don’t know yet as I haven’t moved out yet. I’m trying my best to fix things. Please pray for us.
Sean, One of the things I can tell you is to keep your emotions out of this for the children's sac. Don't ever speak a bad word about Mom NO MATTER what. Love them & cuddle them like a Dad. More than likely they will be living with Mom. ALWAYS be on time for visitation. Now at their ages it's most important to spend quality time with them both. Go to the beach. Throw sand at them. It's the little IN sequential little things they will remember most. Be patient most of all. I could go on for days. Tom T.

Sean sorry to see this. As others have said try counseling. Even if you don't, communication is the most important thing to keep in mind. We just went past 30 years and as you know we have had our share of struggles/stress. We don't raise our voices and we talk when issues arise. Stay strong but listen! Prayers for you and your young family.
Sorry for your problems. I know how gut wrenching and depressing that situation is. I will send some prayers and positive thoughts, and as others have said, getting help (maybe together if possible) can help you learn a lot about yourself and your relationship and how to make it work (hope). Hang in there.
Thank you Tom, Leanne and I are always respectful to each other. Especially in front of the boys we take extra caution to set an example for them. Even if I can’t fix things, I know we will develop a new situation for the boys that isn’t too obtrusive.
Great advice. She is open to all help at this point so we will find support and spiritual guidance, let’s pray.
Sorry to see this, I went thru this many years ago and it was not pretty at all. Do what I read above and keep your kids as happy as possible and Never bad mouth mom and that will go a long way in staying with your boys. Things can get rough so always be thinking ahead no matter how bad it could possibly get, Keep your Calm.
