    Rich,
Marin was only the third time Id had the C II on the track so I wanted to get a little developement time in it. I made 19 passes so I understand why it was hard to catch me in the pits. It was just too much fun on the track!! And yes I do wring it out. Thats what mother Chevrolet intended isnt it?

Anyway, I will be at Stanton, repaired and ready to go. Love for you to stop on by and check out the optional arm rests. Besides the L79 goodies thats about the only option its got!

Reread this thread and I see there is a 70 vette with a LT1 leading the list and my question is did the 70 Z and the vette both use the same exhaust manifolds? Good to hear that two more Z's are in the works for this year. I'm working on trying to get my Z to run some better numbers.

I think the Z28 got a much crappier set of manifolds... the vette still had the ramshorns.......

What Donnie said...Also, depending on what year/engine combo, the Vette was available w/ 2" or 2.5" outlets on the manifold. I think the 2.5's might have only been on the mid-years though

this list is way outdated now.....

I think Jeff tickled the 12.89 mark, Tom Payne ran 12.91, Mike Kilano ran 13.12, I managed a 13.26, Eric may have better his time in the 302MO, Owen was under 13.50 (I think)

quite a weekend for us little motor guys.........

Three more for the list. Mrs. Rhonda Clary recorded a 13.64 @ 102.30 pass with her 350 Olds, and I ended up with a 13.59 @ 102.41. Ty Taccone also hit the 13.50s with his LT-1 Z-28. I bet these times would have been bettered if the 60' times weren't so terrible.

Ted Harbit also ran a 12.91, IIRC. He may have been faster on his last shootout pass, my brain is fried right now with too many numbers running together. The little Tomato was haulin.

DOH! Right you are Rhonda! I remember you getting so angry at yourself for wasting your best ET with a redlight. I didn't bother to look at the third time slip!

Lay off the Diet Pepsi in the staging lanes to cut down on the red lights! :pp

    Rhonda.

You looked pretty good out there...even running a sneaky old curmudgeon like Frank. His little Dart did sound awful good, though. Looked pretty good, too.

I'll be there at the winter shindig this year no matter what, wherever it ends up. I'll bring a sleeping bag. :TU:

Donny, I actually ran 12.88 @108.72 MPH with a .047 light against Julie's L88Vette, it took her until the 330 ft mark to get past the little poncho!:3gears:

Just wanted to say thanks to Eric Maher, for the fun competition in our shootout on Saturday.

Eric has that "Z" running like a scalded cat,and he had me covered as I could not get my car to ET the way it did the day prior.

You and your family are class acts.:beers2:

Good luck with you great car.
