I still have my stock A/c compressor I heard they don't make conversion parts but I am pretty sure they do. Can you just use the stock compressor and just change the lines, drain and resplenish the A/C??

I saw a conversion kit at the parts store that appeared to just be some small fittings. I'm guessing they are restrictors or something. I need to get my '73 Ford truck's A/C going and am curious about this as well.

I believe in order to do a correct conversion, you'd need new hoses, the fittings, use a POE oil, and possibly an expansion valve

Maybe check the "Big Chill" area. AC is AC big block or small block.
