The Buick community lost a great member this week, E.J. Howe was a great guy. He hosted several of the Houston Buick Club events @ his place in Conroe, Tx. before retiring & moving to Johnson City, made many trips to the Buick Nationals in Bowling Green, Ky. He will be missed.

I was Shocked when I got the call yesterday. E.J. was a Great Gentleman, always offering to help & had some Beautiful Buicks & a quick T-Type.
He was always there to share his knowledge & experience when needed, even his shop.
RIP my Friend. You will be missed.

Truly unbelievable that we've lost another great Buick guy and I echo what JR and Robert said. At the events at his place in Conroe, he always went above and beyond as a host. He built some super quick GN's and T-types and beautifully restored '65 Rivi & Wildcat convertible.
Rest in Peace and you will be missed.

EJ was my best friend. I met him at his place in Conroe at an HBC meeting when my only Buick was a GN. I found that he was a real turbo Buick expert, and our friendship developed from that. We had a lot of road trips together to several drag strips and conventions over the years, but then we gradually drifted away from racing and into Buicks from the sixties. He was always ready to go with me to buy “that special rare find”. I will miss him greatly and am so sorry I couldn’t visit him because of the virus as his health rapidly declined.
