Haven't been taking time for pics and posting much, here's some from my drive home from the bar/restaurant this morning.
Not really random. A local guy passed away earlier this month. He was a machinist/WWII vet. He was restoring this ‘39 Packard 6 cylinder that is now for sale. My dad sold him a GM Diesel engine 20 years ago that is sitting behind the Packard. He also had a ‘74 GTO, ‘84 Eldorado, and ‘06 Silverado. The GTO is hidden in the shed attached. More to come on that car
Saw this setting next to a shop in the city today. Looks as if it’s been there a while and a nice car at one time
Ended up meeting the owner of the "Mach 1" and F150 in the bar we decided to stop in on a road trip. Just started bs'ing and the owner tells me about his blue Mustang. I show him these pics, and he's like "yep, that's my stuff".
Went on a road trip yesterday, spotted this grouping on the side of the highway. Met the guy and he redoes carbs for a side gig. Gave me a 1406 to try on my '60 with the caveat I bring him back either the edelbrock or my stock 4gc after I decide which one I'm going to use
Hidden away down the street... Restomod 54 (?) Stude pickup w crate engine, various goodies, and -- perhaps most importantly down here -- A/C.
Went and visited the female in Kalispell. So many cars sitting out I didn't get shots of yesterday, but one amazing spotting: 1970 Charger sitting next to the shed. Guess it's been there for years. Also a '57 Buick hardtop off in the distance:
Somebody pawned a clean '64 Elky. Will have to stop in and check in a couple months. Might end up being a cheap score.
I need to start bringing my DSLR camera with me when out and about. Saw several cool old rides over the last couple days.
