Tweed Vorhees in Dover, Ohio (near Akron) has a 1968 L88 427 engine and also some rare 283 that's specific to a Nova. He's mostly Oldsmobile and is thinning out his Chevy stuff. He is a great guy and former NHRA racer with his Chesrown cars with Ron Garey. He also has mountains of Olds parts and cars and a Chevelle or two in his shop. . If you're interested, contact him at 330-827-6109, or email at vorhaus@frontier.com. I don't have any more details than that, but he told me he was going to put them on "Racing Junk" as he just had great success selling his 66 Bel Air NHRA race car. I guess the 283 for the Nova is unique to that body with a special block...something about the pivot stud location for the clutch linkage..
