Steve,sad, but in the old days no one put on a full GM quarter and always cut this part up by the window lip and discarded it. What I would not give to have some of them back that I seen in the tin pile at the body shops. If you could find someone putting hardtop factory quarters on a conv you could buy this part that they would not use. Just a thought.Thanks Bill Sangster.
Thanks Phil, I need to order a set of those clips, I broke some of them, some of them were missing. Some of the studs were loose, so I might take you up on the offer. :beer Also thanks to all that have responded, I can keep posting pics as this moves along. Guess I will put up a wanted ad for upper partial RH quarter. Seems like the aftermarket would make these patch panels, or is this that uncommon? I have no rust in the places they make all the patches for i.e,, rocker panels lower fender area. Looks like this is going to get expensive! No turning back now though! The car looked good before I took it apart, ou: Any one have a bodyshop recommendation for Austin, TX?
