Repro 65 & 66 Skylark front turn signal lenses - Group Purchase

Do these also work for 66?

 

When I looked up the part numbers, it shows that they are only for the 64 - 65 model year.

Does anyone out there know of anything different?

If there is a large demand for the 66's and no suppliers, this might be another project that I'd consider taking on. :Brow:

Just waiting on a ship ready date on the lens's and gaskets.

It looks like the gaskets will run $6.50 a set and I'll get you some pictures of them as soon as I recieve a sample.

If you order the gaskets at the same time as the lens's, S/H for the gaskets will be included in the S/H costs for the lenses ($6.50)

Example:

Lens set at V8 Board price - $36.00

Gasket set - $6.50

S/H for both - $6.50 (might be less as I'm looking for smaller, less expensive and lighter weight boxes and packageing)

$49 total ($1.00 goes to this fourm)

As soon as I have a ship date I'll let everyone know. It shouldn't be more than a couple of weeks.

I also want a pair of the reverse lenses - I have a '65 Special and need the front turn signal lenses/housing too. Any updates on when the reverse lenses will be shipped out? What form of payment do you except? Paypal?

 

The reverse lenses should've been run yesterday and in route to my house as I type this reply.

I now have 100 sets of gaskets and they look awesome!

In order to stay within the rules of this board, as soon as we're ready to start shipping (hopefully around next Monday) I'll put a posting here directing everyone to a new posting in the "Parts For Sale" section.

In that posting I'll list out all the details for purchasing along with some new pictures of the lenses and gaskets.

I'm thinking that PayPal / money orders or checks (waiting period with personal checks) should cover it and be the easiest for everyone.

Hopefully you all are just excited as I am to finally be getting these parts for our 65's?

We've worked very hard to bring you parts deserving of your beloved Buicks and I can't wait to hear your comments regarding the investment in quality.

Hopefully everything will go well and interest will be high enough to partially fund the much needed parking lens project (and hopefully a couple others). :Brow:

As far as the front signal lenses go.......are the Skylark '65 compatible with the '65 Special? If so I'm definitely interested. Mark me down for a pair. Thanks.

 

A couple of things I should be more clear on.

The front lens project is something still to come, maybe a year or so and only if the reverse lens project works out.

It's really awesome to hear that the interest is still there for the front lenes and this will be very important in helping me make the decision of whether or when to take that project on, but for right now I can only deliver the reverse lenes for the 64 & 65 Special / Skylark and GS.

The Skylark and Special used two different sized lenes. I believe the Special lens was shared with the Sportwagon in 65.

I'm sorry if this has caused or created any confusion.
