No pictures but I ran mine up the column on the left side and mounted it on the turn signal handle

Wire it into the dimmer switch ...or on a coil cord that you can tuck down into the seat.

I like the locks in line to the rear line,. And use a momentary switch

That’s one possibility.........I have a tilt column, maybe I should use the tilt lever?

I like my car to look stock so I just hide the roll control switch in the ashtray and a toggle switch for the switch pitch tucked under the heater vent when not in use. IMG_4301.JPG

On my 1985 GMC Sierra Classic, I ran the wire up the steering column and mounted it on the column shifter. Always handy. I had one old timer at a car show ask me if the switch was for the two-speed rear end!

Dimmer switch? Not sure how that would work unless you have 3 feet.....o_O

Why, all you need is two feet. Stab the brake with your right foot, and hit the dimmer switch with your left, line lock on. Step on the gas, burn the tires, and step on the dimmer switch with your left.:)

    Alot of footwork involved there...
Perhaps make a temporary coiled cord switch you can tape to the steering wheel, then take off when not at the track. Use quick disconnect wire connections.
This is a link to a trans brake switch, but you get the idea: Check out this page from Summit Racing https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sbr-mush-o
Velcro or tape switch to steering wheel.
Apply brake , push and hold button down, warm the tires, let off the button and roll out of the burnout.....JIM

I like my 2 feet doing brake and throttle. I use my left foot to pump brake before setting line lock. Like to have right foot ready to control throttle.

You could use a cruise control switch on the turn signal as the hold for the line lock. It would look stock.
