1964 Skylark with 500ci Cadillac engine for sale.

Rust and accident free body, dechromed, painted Bernina Blue
Rebuild Cadillac engine from a 1971 Eldorado. Installed using install kit from Maximum Torque Specialties, the experts in high performance Cadillac engines (yes, there definitely is such a thing). 750 cfm Edelbrock carb, MTS performance cam, HIE distributor, MSD soft touch rev limiter. High volume oil pump and custom oil pan for larger capacity and better ground clearance. Water temperature and oil pressure gauges under dash.
TH400 automatic transmission with 2000 stall torque converter and transmission cooler. Limited slip with 3.08 gears
New exhaust manifolds to tailpipes.Power front disk brakes, rear drums. Rear control arms boxed. 15 inch steel wheels, 7 in front 8 in rear.
New interior with split bench front seat and ironing board center console. Sirius radio in glove box. Water temperature and oil pressure gauges under dash.

Car has about 5,000 miles since build. Wouldn't be for sale if a 65 GS convertible hadn't followed me home last summer.

$16,750. No trades, but I'll listen to any offer. Many more details and many more pictures available.

This sure looks and sounds like the car that was put together by a board member in CA.

I think I may have some pics of the car prior to the re creation. It's a nice solid car.

If it is......................I have all of the original side moldings , side mirror, power bucket seat track in my garage.

Sorry guys, here are the pictures. Also, those flat spots went away with a new 750 cfm carb and some tuning.

Can you post a trunk picture? Also do you know if the rear qtr panels have been replaced? Can you show pics of the new exhaust? What was the original color on the car? Does the car have a tachometer? How did you address the Rev limiter? What type of oil pressure does the motor have? What Temps does it run in summer heat? Does heater work?

You an email me the pics if you wish....... Staged2@sbclobal.net
