I am giving a hand to Craig (mobileparts123), doing him a favor, he does not post pictures or have the means to take them. Craig got his hands on 9 Aftermarket Stage 1 fuel pumps that he is offering for sale. He says they are for 1968-1974 Stage 1 455. Part # 40664 Airtex, Carter, Master, and Blackstone, please see the pictures. I tried taking two pictures of each one, however, a few of them are the same so I did not take pics. They are currently protected with WD40. I believe all of them have the reinforced arm. Craig will include a free gasket, fel-pro USA # 6579. Craig is asking $85 each plus shipping. Supposedly these are no longer being reproduced by anyone. They are all N.O.S. and all made in the USA. Got question on these NOS pumps.... Most of the new carb rebuild kits are made for Corn Gas.... Is the working part in theses pumps up todate for the Corn.... I found a NOS lift pump last year Im sure its not made for corn gas.... My solution I just burn Corn-Less gas.... I will be buying a up to date lift pump in the near future.... Im not the biggest of packing 20 gallons of fuel in the trunk of my car for a road trip......
I would venture to say....that these pumps are NOT made for Corn gas.....but, all the more reason to have a spare. Best to ask Craig directly. I believe he does have internet access as of today and will sign on
Hey Men, Jason / "jaystoy" asked me about THE Stage One Fuel Pump at the recently completed Spring Carlisle... I investigated, and found 10 of them at the 3 old school parts stores that I deal with... Eddie & Freddie had 3 in Western Pennsylvania, Doug & John had 2 in Ohio, and Gene & Sam had 5 in Michigan.... I, of course, bought all 10... I am very old school, have this tablet (so I am a little into the 21st century !!!?...) but thanks completely to Jason / Jaystoy for all the pictures, etc., etc., so CALL Me--- 516 - 485 - 1935... Update: Received checks today, and sent out seven (7) of them today, and Jason / Jaystoy grabbed the first one... Awaiting on the checks from Quinn from Illinois and Jesse from Kentucky (they will probably arrive Saturday or Monday) and will go out immediately, which completes all ten (10) of them in "record time" !!! I have all three sources checking for sure if they are truly out now, or have they unearthed any more.... I will call them all on Monday, and we shall see.... Today's update: Jesse from Kentucky sent me a postal money order rather than a check (Thank you Jesse) And his 40664 Fuel Pump went out today (# 9 of the original 10) And spoke to Quinn from Illinois... his check should be here within 24 - 48 hours, and that will account for ALL of the original 10 -- 40664 Fuel Pumps !!! June 1st update: Quinn from Illinois' check came in today --- and out his 40664 Fuel Pump went today. Such that now all original 10 pumps are spoken for.... Eddie & Freddie found one (1) more (one last one in the building across the street), Doug & John definitely have no more, and Gene and Sam sent me four (4) more (when they sent me the initial 5 --- they never went (Down the block-- to their overstock building) and I will have them tomorrow.. So, I will have five (5) more --- have 2 people on the waiting list -- will call them tomorrow --- and let you all know , ultimately, exactly how many I have available, for anyone and everyone else.. Okay, this has been fun, to tell all the truth !!!! I wound up with 15 -- 40664 Fuel Pumps altogether, and when the lastcheck arrives, 13 have been sent/ spoken for !!! The only two (2) I have remaing are two (2) Capac. (brand) --- Rebuildable style Fuel Pumps with the reinforced arms... 1 is a N.O.S. New and 1 is a N.O.R.S. Rebuilt... Hey Ken / Hawken, You got here before I did !! Ken speaks the truth -- he just gobbled up the last two (2) of all 15 .... That was incredibly fast...
